Yesterday HTC announced its would-be Apple iPhone killer, the HTC Touch. The Touch makes use of HTC’s new TouchFLO display and UI extensions to add an amazing set of finger based controls to WM6, while leaving support for the stylus. We have video demos of the Touch in action from the launch event.

Today the US International Trade Commission issued a ban on a number of Qualcomm chipsets that power many 3G handsets used by Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T. The ban also prohibits bringing new phones into the country that contain the chipsets.
